2 new Retrofit Exhaust Gas Steam Boilers to Northern Jaeger

PARAT will replace 2 pcs of PARAT MES Exhaust Gas running boilers that was installed when ship was converted in 1990 with brand new boilers. Designed with identical dimensions and capacity as the original steam boilers and will have 12 barg design pressure and capacity of 800kgs/h for each boiler. Both boilers are approved by DNV with PARAT performing the Commissioning and Start-up.

Built after original drawings exactly to the same outer dimensions as the old one, which means it can be used with the same available space and existing connections (small modifications is sometimes required). The Northern Jaeger was converted at Seebeck Shipyard, Germany, in 1990 and is a single-level processing vessel. Our second-longest vessel, Northern Jaeger can produce more than 100 metric tons of finished frozen products a day. Northern Jaeger is a registered vessel on both the Pacific Whiting (hake) Conservation Cooperative and the Pollock Conservation Cooperative, and it is employed in the Wild Yellowfin Sole fisheries in Alaska.
